Anchor Chain
Loosed from its housing, it swings the whole length of itself rather than aim any one link at you, and it plants deep in the silt to take the return blow. The corrosion doesn't stop at metal: any wound you try to close near it weeps salt back at you, one point for every point you mend, and the same dead iron threads a current - any charge you spend near it earths straight back through the chain, a point of hurt for every point you spend. It leaves a flooded weight in your chest besides, that comes due later, all at once.
