The Cinder Choir

The Cinder Choir portrait

A congregation of grave-lanterns that learned to sing. The choir feeds on kept fire: every ember you have banked is drawn up into its throats and burned as breath before your own flame ever falls due, and each turn it drinks the bank down to a guttering few (Ember Eater 6). Fire borrowed from a relic burns no safer in its aisle.
