Blackwater

Blackwater portrait

The black water at the bottom of the Atlas, standing upright in a doorway. It never guards and never mends. It takes your mana instead, and every spark you conjure in its shadow is dragged down through your own chest on the way, gathers weight every turn you spend flailing, and it will not let a Stormfront stand over it at all: whatever front you leave hanging at the end of your turn, the flood pulls every last scrap of it under. Once the water is half spent it closes over your head and will not let go.

Boss 206 HP hits for up to 28 4 damage per turn on average

💪 Wrath
Adds its value to every attack it makes. Lasts the whole fight.
💧 Soak
At the start of your turn you lose 1 mana, then one stack fades. Slows you down; it never lasts forever.
⛈️ Stormfront
After every card you play, a bolt strikes the enemy for that much. It is a real attack, so Wrath, Chill and Shatter all change it and Guard absorbs it. Lasts the whole fight.
